Jennifer of Jailbreak Creative was featured in this months Blue Ridge Business Journal. With a focus on Friday 2.0 Social Media 101, the article goes into some depth about why Social Media is importand in the realm of advertising. Sadly the article has a misprint, as Jennifer is not involved with ShoutOut LLC, but is instead one of the owners of Jailbreak Creative!

Needless to say we were thrilled to see her face in the publication, and get the word out about Friday 2.0 which is held at the Muse Coffee Shop in Lynchburg every friday at 9:00 AM.

“I asked Jennifer to teach her ‘Social Media 101′ course at Social Media River’s first seminar. I had not attended her class, nor did I know Jennifer or her work. But, I had met her on Twitter, and I liked her style and when I visited her Web site I was impressed with her work and her motives. I did not provide Jennifer with an agenda; instead, I asked her to ‘wing it’ to an impossible group – we had thirty people with varying experiences in social media from beginner to expert, from young to old.
